This blog will be used as a place to store my ideas, inspiration, research, development and anything else related to the module 'AG0910A Advanced Visualisation'.

Monday 19th September -
I had the first lecture for Advanced Visualisation today. I was told all about the module and what I would be doing for this semester.
For this semester I will need to create a maximum 30 second character animation showing the characters personality when he/she/it encounters an 'Unknown Element'. How the character will react will depend on his/hers/its personality.
I was told to start thinking of character designs and possible story's for next week.

Tuesday 20th September -
Tuesday was the first practical session. We got to play with Jimmy! I was given a character rig for the purpose of getting to know how to animate a character using controls and key-frames to achieve this.
A task was given to create a two step walk and the cycle the animation so that it could be repeated. I  managed to achieve this and my character walked forward successfully.

(PLAYBLAST COMING SOON) Here it is:

My feelings overall are very optimistic. I am looking forward to getting stuck in and learning how to rig.
